Mutiny staat op het menu in het tweede seizoen van MobLand
We zijn nog iets meer dan een maand verwijderd van de terugkeer van MobLand, want de Paramount+ misdaaddramaserie verschijnt al op 18 september weer op televisie. Hoewel we een maand geleden voor het eerst kregen in een teasertrailer een voorproefje van wat er gaat komen, is het nu tijd voor de volledige trailer en onthult dat de familie Harrigan, geleid door mijn patriarch en matriarch Pierce Brosnan en Helen Mirren, vijanden van zowel buiten als van binnen zal confronteren.
De trailer laat zien hoe de misdaadfamilie omgaat met andere dreigingen die hun territorium binnendringen, maar ook veel belangrijke familieleden besluiten dat er verandering nodig is, en uiteindelijk samenwerken met de concurrentie in een poging de controle over te nemen van de oudere bazen. Dit alles terwijl Tom Hardy's Harry Da Souza probeert alles overeind te houden en zijn best doet om iedereen tegelijk in leven te houden, ondanks de tol die het eist aan zijn persoonlijke leven.

Where to find Hokuryu Sunflower Farm in Forza Horizon 6
The new Summer Season has launched in Forza Horizon 6, meaning there are new challenges, including a weekly photo at Hokuryu Sunflower Farm, a Treasure Hunt, plus there are two new seasonal cars to earn. In the Horizon Mascot Party, you can get the Exomotive Exocet Sport and the Datsun 2000 Roadster, though you'll have to complete challenges to build up progress. So, here's where to find the photo spot.
Forza Horizon 6 Hokuryu Sunflower Farm location
This photo challenge is a nice easy one, since all you're really doing is taking a picture of your car in a giant field of sunflowers, which leaves you a lot of options. You can find Hokuryu Sunflower Farm on the east side of the Hokubo region—simply look for the giant yellow field on the map, west of the Irabuohashi Bridge.
Another way to track it down is to look for the striped multicoloured field (Shikisai-no-oka) on the map in north Hokubo, then move your cursor directly southeast to find the yellow field
As mentioned, you can take your picture anywhere in the field with your chosen car. Doing so will earn you the Yellow Sports Sunglasses clothing reward, but also three Season Reward points so you can progress towards those two Summer Season cars. If you haven't yet, make sure to also complete the Shimanoyama region Treasure Hunt for some more easy points.

The 5 best new shows and movies streaming this week on Netflix, Disney Plus, Prime Video, and more (August 14-16)
As we hit the midway point of August, there is still so much to enjoy on streaming. One of our most-anticipated shows of the year finally arrives this week, as Lanterns begins on HBO Max. The DCU show has a lot of buzz around it, and we can't wait to see the introduction of the classic comic book characters in James Gunn's universe.
That's not the only big show premiering this week either, with the hugely anticipated return of Reacher hitting Prime Video and the epic conclusion to X-Men '97. In terms of movies, there's plenty to pick from, with one of the best horrors of recent years arriving on Netflix as well as a special director's cut of The X-Files: I Want to Believe available too.

Lanterns

After the mixed success of Supergirl, Lanterns is DC's newest shining hope as it hits HBO Max this weekend. Sitting in the prestigious Sunday night slot, the new weekly show follows the notorious intergalactic peacekeepers. Experienced Lantern Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler) teams up with new recruit John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) to investigate a murder in Rushville, Nebraska.
Billed as a True Detective-style superhero story, the series is the next major project in the DCU. We've already met one Lantern in Guy Gardner, but the tone of this one will be much darker and more grounded. This is especially true given the talent behind the camera: Lost's Damon Lindelof, Chris Mundy, and Tom King. It's well worth a watch when it begins on August 16, whether you're a comic book fan or not.

Reacher season 4

Where to Watch: Prime Video
The big man is back. Reacher season 4 has started on Prime Video with new episodes of the action thriller dropping weekly. Alan Ritchson is back as Jack Reacher, punching his way through a new mission. This time he gets embroiled in a CIA conspiracy after witnessing a young woman take her own life on the subway. Neagely is out of the picture ahead of her spin-off show, but a new local detective (played by Sydelle Noel) proves to be a standout in the eight-part show.
Our own Reacher season 4 review admits that while it's not the "strongest installment" of the show, the fight scenes continue to "pack a punch". The future of the Reacher universe is set too, with a season 5 already in the works, meaning we'll be seeing plenty more of Ritchson's imposing former military police officer soon. X-Men '97 season 2 finale

It's all led to this. X-Men '97 season 2 has finally come to an end with an explosive finale. The final episode of the beloved animated series features some major cameos, heartbreaking losses, and big surprises. Entitled 'Survival of the Fittest', episode nine focuses on Rogue as she races against time to try and save Gambit.
While the MCU's TV shows have had some mixed quality in the last few years, X-Men '97 has proved to be a standout. Great writing, solid character choices, and a lot of fun, the series should be a blueprint for tackling mutants in Marvel in live-action too. Immaculate

Sydney Sweeney's twisty horror Immaculate is now streaming on Netflix and is the perfect choice if you're after something gripping this weekend. It stars Sweeney as an American nun who begins a new life at a remote convent in the Italian countryside. However, strange things soon start to happen and she finds herself inexplicably pregnant.
Is it an immaculate conception or is something horrifying happening at this seemingly beautiful religious sanctuary? Alongside Sweeney, Money Heist's Álvaro Morte also stars as a charming priest in Michael Mohan's 90-minute thriller. It first came out in 2024 but is now streaming for subscribers on Netflix.

The X-Files: I Want to Believe Vrach Frankenshteyn

Where to watch: Disney+/Hulu
As well as The X-Files: I Want to Believe arriving on Disney Plus this week, the streamer has also dropped a director's cut of the 2008 movie. Never seen before, this is an R-rated version from Chris Carter, which restores some of the horror elements removed from the original film.
David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson return as Fox Mulder and Dana Scully in the movie, which takes place years after they stepped away from the FBI. They're drawn back in when a federal agent disappears without a trace, leading them into a mystery featuring a former priest and an unforgiving winter landscape. A must-watch ahead of the announced Ryan Coogler reboot.

Tomb Raider: Catalyst lanceringsvenster verkleind
We weten al dat Lara Croft volgend jaar weer terug is, want Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis verschijnt op 12 februari op PC, PlayStation 5, Switch 2 en Xbox Series S/X. We weten echter ook dat mevrouw Croft grotere plannen heeft dan dat, want ze heeft ook een gloednieuw avontuur in de maak, getiteld Tomb Raider: Catalyst.
Deze laatste werd recentelijk uitgesteld tot 2028, en dankzij het kwartaalrapport van Embracer Group hebben we nu verduidelijking ontvangen die de releasedatum nauwkeuriger weergeeft. Daarin kunnen we lezen (via Tomb Raider Chronicles):
"Embracer Group heeft haar tussentijdse rapport gepubliceerd voor het eerste kwartaal van het boekjaar 2026/27, waarin een releaseperiode voor Tomb Raider Catalyst wordt bevestigd. Volgens het rapport wordt verwacht dat het volgende hoofdspel Tomb Raider van Crystal Dynamics in het boekjaar 2027/28 zal verschijnen. Omdat het boekjaar van Embracer loopt van 1 april tot 31 maart, ligt het verwachte releasevenster van Catalyst tussen 1 april 2027 en 31 maart 2028."
Kortom, Tomb Raider: Catalyst wordt uitgebracht tussen 1 april 2028 en 31 maart 2029. En als de release nog steeds gepland staat voor het kalenderjaar 2028, betekent dat dat het spel zal verschijnen in een van de laatste negen maanden van het jaar.
Het oorspronkelijke plan was dat Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis in 2026 zou debuteren, maar Grand Theft Auto VI en de aankomende tv-serie droegen waarschijnlijk bij aan de wijziging van de plannen van Amazon Game Studios, terwijl Tomb Raider: Catalyst werd uitgesteld naar het jaar erna, en nu weten we iets meer over wanneer het zal verschijnen.
