Mondial 2026 : Portugal-Espagne, un choc des étoiles et des générations entre Ronaldo et Yamal

Tuipulotu: Boks a different animal
Scotland captain Sione Tuipulotu says taking on the Springboks in South Africa is “the biggest challenge in world rugby”.

While pleased with Scotland’s seven-try display in Córdoba, Tuipulotu admitted there were warning signs after his side conceded two late tries.
“We are really pleased to get our Nations Championship off to a great start, but next week will be a different animal.
“I think those final five minutes when we lost a couple of tries will probably narrow the focus for next week – 100%.
“We let in two tries which were probably avoidable in those last few minutes. That’s definitely something we will look at for next week.”
VAN GRAAN: Russell can hurt Springboks
Tuipulotu was also satisfied with the way Scotland managed the swings in momentum against Argentina, something he expects to be even more important against the Springboks.
“We knew momentum shifts were going to play a huge part in the game. I spoke to the group before the game about it.
“If we thought we were just going to come out here and have it all our own way, with one-way traffic for the whole 80 minutes, it was never going to happen.
“We handled those momentum shifts really well in the game. We knew that Argentina were going to come at us at some points in the game, but overall we coped well with it.
“It’s not an easy thing to do away from home, but I thought we answered that pretty well if I’m honest.”

Liberia: après une saisie record de cocaïne, cinq suspects inculpés
Cinq personnes et une société de logistique ont été inculpées au Liberia, samedi 5 juillet 2026, après la saisie record de 237 kilos de cocaïne à l'aéroport international Monrovia-Roberts, l'une des plus importantes saisies de drogue jamais réalisées dans le pays. La cargaison avait été interceptée le 7 juin, avant que les autorités n'annoncent l'opération dix jours plus tard. Le président Joseph Boakai avait alors promis de démanteler les réseaux derrière ce trafic.

Le légendaire but contre son camp (CSC) a encore de beaux jours devant lui. Il a encore frappé lors du match Australie-Égypte (1-1, 2-4 tab.) pour conforter son avance au classement des buteurs. Plus sérieusement, le but contre son camp de l’Égyptien Mohamed Hany est le treizième depuis le début du tournoi. De quoi permettre au Mondial 2026 de dépasser l’édition 2018 et de devenir officiellement la plus prolifique de l’histoire en matière de CSC. À titre de comparaison, seuls deux buts contre leur camp avaient été inscrits sur l’ensemble de la Coupe du monde 2022. Déjà auteur d’un but contre son camp face à la Belgique lors du premier match de l’Égypte (1-1), Mohamed Hany a remis ça contre l’Australie en trompant une nouvelle fois son propre gardien à la suite d’un coup franc. Une performance qui fait de lui le deuxième joueur à inscrire deux buts contre son camp en Coupe du monde, soixante ans après le Bulgare Ivan Vutsov en 1966.
