McMillan Healed, Ready to Replace Evans

Buccaneers receiver Jalen McMillan has fully recovered from a neck injury that fractured three vertebrae and is ready to help fill the void left by Mike Evans.

McMillan played only four games last season after the scary injury, but caught 12 passes for 178 yards down the stretch. "I am happy," McMillan said. "Just to be out there and to catch balls from Baker [Mayfield] and just to run on my feet, I feel good."

The third-round pick made 37 receptions for 461 yards and eight touchdowns in 13 games before the injury. Coach Todd Bowles praised McMillan's toughness, saying "His mental toughness is unbelievable" as he prepares to replace Evans who joined the 49ers. extract-html.com
