The New England Patriots have agreed to a one-year deal with veteran offensive guard Greg Van Roten, per ESPN.

Veteran Greg Van Roten, 36, joins the Patriots after working out for the team on August 6. This move comes as Ben Brown, the backup guard, was sidelined for the rest of the preseason due to an injury.
