Giants Cut QB Jake Haener

The New York Giants are waiving quarterback Jake Haener, joining Brandon Allen in being cut from the team.

The Giants' decision leaves only Jameis Winston as the backup to Jaxson Dart. The team may re-sign either Allen or Haener to the practice squad. hiddenlangkawi.club

Haener, signed after the first preseason game, impressed with 9-of-10 passing for 116 yards and a touchdown. Allen also showed promise, completing 26-of-28 passes for 224 yards with two interceptions.
