After being denied a US visa for the World Cup, Somali referee Omar Artan will take charge of the PSG–Aston Villa Super Cup final in Salzburg on 12 August.

Following talks with CAF, UEFA announced that Omar Artan will officiate the Super Cup clash between Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa on 12 August in Salzburg.
