Dixon to McLaren Stuns Racing World

Six-time IndyCar champion Scott Dixon announced his move to Arrow McLaren, leaving Chip Ganassi Racing after 25 years, while the team also parted ways with championship contender Christian Lundgaard.

Arrow McLaren announced Monday that Dixon and former McLaren driver Felix Rosenqvist will join the team in 2027, while Lundgaard and Nolan Siegel will not return. Lundgaard, currently third in the championship, has been on the podium 39% of his race starts with McLaren, leading broadcaster Will Buxton to question, "What more are you supposed to do to prove to the team that you're the guy?" fish-roadgame.online

Buxton compared Dixon's move to "Tom Brady to the Bucs" or "Lionel Messi to Miami," noting that Arrow McLaren's focus appears to be on winning the Indy 500 as part of their "triple crown" goal rather than the championship title.
