Konnor Griffin Suffers Finger Injury, Out 8-10 Weeks

The Pittsburgh Pirates have placed rookie shortstop Konnor Griffin on the 10-day injured list, sidelining him for 8-10 weeks with a left ring finger injury.

Pirates director Todd Tomczyk confirmed the injury involves the sagittal band stabilizing the finger. Griffin, who hit .276 this season, will wear a splint for six weeks. In his absence, Jared Triolo will likely take over at shortstop, with infielder Jack Brannigan called up to the roster. livefromquarantine.club
